This is one aspect of the site where I would really like some feedback from my visitors. The Dizzy games were released
such a long time ago that getting hold of them is very difficult.
If you know of anywhere where the Dizzy games can be bought for any platform, then I
would be very glad to hear from you. I will put my findings up here.
I can make no guarantees about the security or integrity of any of these
sellers or companies.
The Commodore 64 version of Treasure Island Dizzy is available from Codemasters here. It's a
free download, but you'll need to register.
The Attic Bug, an "independent video game and gaming machine supplier", is a great source for hard-to-find games and accessories, and comes highly-recommended by one of our visitors. They've plenty of Dizzy Games available.
EAGER (Every Amiga Game Ever Released)
has details of where to buy a number of Dizzy games for Amiga. Go to the page for
the game you are looking for, and look at "availability" under
"Miscellaneous Information".
Bolton Game Centre sells Super All-stars for PC. This is a
compilation collection which as far as we know, includes Magicland Dizzy, as well as some
other non-Dizzy games.
Their phone number is +44 (0)1204 494272. However, you need to buy
from the shop itself. The address is:
Bolton Game Centre
148-150 Chorleyold rd
Bolton
It is worth phoning to check what they have in stock (they may have other
Dizzy games, although when I tried, they didn't); since Dizzy games for PC are rare in the
UK.
And finally, one good way to get hold of Dizzy games is to visit auction sites such as eBay.
Please note: there are a number of people around selling illegal Dizzy
CDs (which are often poor-quality too). You can find out more about this issue in this thread of the
Dizzy Community forums.
